This has got to be one of my favorite logos I have seen so far. Without even knowing the name of what the logo was made for, right away you can tell what the name could be. The first figure I noticed was the man in the middle with the swung golf club. On top of the club are stripes as if showing the where the golf club was swung. Then when I took a second look at the logo, I saw a Spartan head. I find it clever how he made the body of the man, the face of the Spartan. Also, how the stripes on top are like the Spartans helmet. It all comes into place and like I said has to be one of my favorite logos yet. It is incredible and inspiring for other designers.
I’ve provided a link back to this page, and I hope you’ll be okay with me featuring your logo. I’d love it if you stopped by and let me know what you think about the article. Also, if you would like me to remove the logo, please let me know at ash @ ashmenon.com and I’ll do so ASAP. Thanks!
One of the most creative logo designs I’ve ever seen. I love the fact that BOTH the spartan face and the golfer are equally recognizable. Many attempts at this style of logo fail because only one of the intended silhouettes actually resembles what it suppose to. Amazing job.

Nov 21, 2011Just brilliant. My jaw dropped on this one. Just brilliant figure/ground work. Kudos to the designer for seeing the face in the golfer’s body.
Just brilliant.
