And yes, the program has nothing to do with it. However, a vector program is what you need for logo design, not a bitmap app like PS. -
Considering this logo was done prob well before PCs, I’d say get yourself a pencil, some markers, and maybe some graphing and tracing paper. Boom, there’s your ‘program’

Wizard, the logo would have been (or should have been) designed in Illustrator or a similar vector based design program. Not Photoshop.

Yeah… Herb Lubalin was cranking out innovative designs long before PS AI or any other digital aids. Herb was a classical master.

It’s a shame this logo has got such a low rating, this deserves to be in the top 5. There are so many weaker logos rated higher on here it’s baffling.
